ABOUT CONSOLIDOCS
We built this because we lived this.
Malaysian-born technology lawyer. 20+ years negotiating contracts worth over £100 million. Founder of Orbital Law and Consolidocs.
Currently learning to fly a Cessna 152 at 60, because as she puts it, why not.
THE REASON THIS EXISTS
The 70-hour ordeal that started everything.
Tina Fernandez was born in Kuala Lumpur and came to England to study for the Bar. She stayed, built a career, started a family, and spent the next two decades doing what she describes as being a businessperson who happens to know the law. In-house roles over private practice. Close to the heart of decisions. Specialising in technology law: vendor agreements, compliance frameworks, and global contracts worth over £100 million.
Everywhere she went, she saw the same pattern. Contracts negotiated carefully, signed, and then quietly abandoned. Missed renewals. Unenforced terms. Obligations buried in inboxes. Organisations losing 8 to 15% of the value they had just spent months negotiating, without ever realising it.
The moment that broke the pattern came after a 70-hour ordeal trying to consolidate a single contract that had accumulated 61 separate amendments over its lifetime. No tool existed to do it. No platform could handle it. She did it manually, across three days, and decided that was enough. The problem she had watched repeat itself across her entire career finally had a founder willing to solve it.
She had spent 2019 completing an LLM in IT Law with research on AI liability, which went on to win academic recognition and positioned her years ahead of the current mainstream conversation about AI in legal operations. She knew what was technically possible. She knew what the problem actually was. And she had already founded Orbital Law, a commercial law firm for tech startups, so she understood what it meant to build from scratch.
Consolidocs is the solution she wished had existed throughout her career. Not a generic AI tool. Not another CLM. Something built specifically for the moment that nobody else was solving: the contract after signature, with all its amendments, in whatever state it happens to be in.
"I opened the first file. Framework Agreement, dated seven years ago. Then the amendments started. Amendment 1, Amendment 2. I kept scrolling. Amendment 15, Amendment 23, Amendment 38, Amendment 61. Sixty-one amendments."

WHY THIS WORKS WHEN OTHER THINGS HAVE NOT
Not an LLM. Not a CLM. Something built for this specific problem.
A purpose-built small language model
Consolidocs does not use a large language model or a generic AI API. It uses a proprietary small language model trained exclusively for legal contract language in English law. It operates within a tightly defined task: reading clause hierarchy and amendment instructions. It cannot generate information it has not read in the document. No hallucinations. No guesswork.
Patent-pending architecture
The three-layer processing architecture is covered by patents pending in the United States and Sweden, encompassing fifteen distinct consolidation processes. Designed by a Professor of Applied Mathematics at Cambridge specifically for the structural behaviour of legal contracts and their amendment chains. No other CLM platform replicates it.
Built for legacy estates, not ideal ones
Conventional CLM tools manage contracts they generate. They cannot handle your legacy documents, third-party paper, or OCR-scanned originals from 1994. Consolidocs was built specifically for the reality of an enterprise contract estate, decades of documents in inconsistent formats, poorly filed, amended beyond recognition. That is not a special case. That is every organisation.
